When many friends get a database crystal, they will definitely want to see the triangular mark on the top edge. Currently, most of the triangles seen are equilateral triangles or isosceles triangles, but the sizes of the triangles vary greatly. Some triangles are larger and have a strong three-dimensional sense and can be seen directly with the naked eye, but most are very small or have a low three-dimensional sense and are difficult to see directly with the naked eye. Or some are composed of many triangles stacked up layer by layer, so if you don\u2019t see the triangle on the top layer, you may miss the database mark.<\/p>\n

Because most database marks are found on white crystal, the top facets of the transparent body are sometimes too clear, making them quite difficult to see with the naked eye. In general, when searching for the database mark on your crystal, you must slightly move the facet you are examining under appropriate lighting. Sometimes, at a certain angle, you will find the triangle mark, but at another angle, the triangle you just discovered may disappear from your visual area. This is not guaranteed, as it has something to do with the etching method of the triangle. However, generally speaking, this situation may occur when searching on a transparent surface. It is just a physical phenomenon. Anyway, the key point is to remember to move the facet along with the light, which will make it easier to find. As mentioned earlier, some of the triangle marks are quite small, requiring a magnifying glass or macro lens to see clearly. Magnifying glasses are, of course, a relatively inexpensive option and are readily available in bookstores and online. Most commercially available magnifying glasses seem to have a magnification of around 3X-5X, which, in most cases, allows for a high probability of finding the database mark. However, some triangle marks are so small that I need to use magnifications of almost 10X or more to capture them. Therefore, if you want to be absolutely sure, I recommend using a macro lens and using the zoom-in function on your phone. However, in most cases, a magnifying glass is sufficient.<\/p>\n

Because these triangles are layered together, if you don't see the top triangle, you might miss the database markings and mistake them for just a bunch of diagonal lines. Some triangles are etched so wildly, stacked so numerously that you can't even discern the triangles themselves. Imagine a triangle stacked on top of triangles in all sorts of directions, blurring the lines. I usually don't label these as database crystals, but I might tell you in the features section that I "feel" they're database crystals. Please forgive the "feel" I can only describe them as database crystals. The above types are just a general classification, and sometimes they are combined and presented, not necessarily limited to only one presentation. They are listed here just to make it easier for everyone to experience these varied triangular etchings. I hope everyone can see their own database marks.<\/p>

Finally, I've included a sample video for your understanding. As mentioned earlier, when searching for the database mark on your crystal, you must slightly move the facet you're examining under appropriate lighting. Sometimes, at a certain angle, you'll find the triangle mark, but at a different angle, the triangle you just discovered may disappear from your visual field. In the video, the database mark is circled in red for your reference. While the above isn't absolute, searching on a transparent surface can lead to this phenomenon.
