Wind and water are the art of energy flow between Heaven, Earth, and Humanity— the most delicate dialogue between human beings, nature, and space. Energy circulates through every detail of a space, as elements, planets, and nature continually move and interact, quietly influencing harmony and prosperity in life. While the greater foundation depends on your soul blueprint, karmic connections, and inner cultivation in this lifetime, adjusting your living environment appropriately can enhance your overall well-being in the present moment, allowing the river of your life to flow more naturally and smoothly.
This is quite a difficult category to name—not because the crystals themselves are hard to describe, but because terms related to Feng Shui and the elements have already been used to their fullest extent. While we wish to move beyond the existing concepts that have been so firmly defined, we still have to borrow these familiar words to make explanations easier and to help you, our visitors, understand them more clearly.
I am not an expert in studying conventional Feng Shui knowledge, nor am I a home décor designer. My understanding comes solely from my own journey—constantly being guided to change my living spaces and arrangements—combined with insights from crystals. From these experiences, I have gained certain realizations and understandings, and I am attempting to share them in simple language. I do so because I deeply feel that these aspects are a vital and significant part of life.
Energy Circulation Within Space
Wind and water, to me, are the art of energy flow between Heaven, Earth, and Humanity— the most delicate dialogue between humans, nature, and space. Energy moves through every detail of a space, as elements, planets, and nature continuously operate, quietly influencing the harmony and good fortune of life. While the greater foundation relies on your own DNA, soul blueprint, karmic connections, and the inner cultivation along your path, making appropriate adjustments to the environment you live in can enhance your overall state in the present moment. This allows the river of your life to flow and ripple more naturally and smoothly— and this, I believe, is the aspect of “flow” in our destiny that we can consciously cultivate.
Just as some religions encourage us to accumulate merit and virtue, treating your dwelling and environment with kindness also brings favorable karmic connections and good fortune. While the idea of changing one’s fate has anecdotal cases but remains unproven, increasing your fortune—aligning your life to follow the optimal path laid out by your soul’s blueprint—is something we can do, and is often the easier part.
When the energy of a space flows naturally, everything unfolds in alignment with our highest benefit.
Back when we were in Taipei, we had a healing space that we chose under the guidance of higher intuition. We arranged the place with care, placing certain objects—especially crystals and sacred geometry—so that the overall energy could flow smoothly. Visitors who entered the space often described an indescribable sense of comfort, and clients who came for healing would sometimes say that the moment they stepped inside, they felt their hearts calm and even sensed the healing already beginning.
This is why the topic of spatial energy is so important— it is a theme that can extend to an entire community, a city, and even the whole Earth.
The following is an excerpt from a case recorded by Denise Linn, allowing us to better understand the relationship between space and ourselves.
A young man came to see me. For several months, he had been suffering from severe depression. He had undergone medical treatment and taken prescribed medication, yet he still felt deeply depressed. My healing work varies depending on each client—sometimes I conduct past-life regression therapy, sometimes I suggest dietary changes, and other times I use acupressure or hands-on healing. However, for this particular case, I had a strong intuition that I needed to begin by working with the energy of his home.
I said, “Can you tell me about your drawers?”
"What?"
"Tell me about your drawers."
"My drawer? Well, it's a mess in there."
“When was the last time you cleaned out your drawers?”
He answered me, “I can’t remember.”
"I want you to go home and organize your drawers. Start with your bedroom drawers. Do you have any plans for today?"
He looked confused and replied, "No." He came to me for depression, but I asked him to clean the house, which made no sense to him.
I asked him if he would like to drive home and clean out his drawers in a good way, throwing away anything he didn't use or didn't like. He didn't understand, but agreed to do it. I told him I would call him in four hours to see how he was doing. He was still confused, but drove home. I called him four hours later and he was very excited and surprised.
"I can't believe it! I feel so good. I've tried all kinds of remedies and I've never felt better. How can just cleaning out my drawers and getting rid of stuff make such a difference?"
I explained to him that our homes are symbols of ourselves; in fact, at a deeper level of consciousness, our homes are extensions of ourselves. I told him that our homes are templates for ourselves. By changing our templates, we can affect our energy. I explained to him that by cleaning out his drawers, he was changing his template. When he threw away the items he no longer needed in his drawers, he was symbolically releasing things he no longer needed in his life.
Symbolic actions have great power. He threw away the trash in his drawer, which in turn influenced him to release the emotional trash in his life. Later, I went to his home and helped him clean and purify his house. However, I felt that his real healing began when he cleaned out his drawer and performed a symbolic release. In just a few weeks, he was happy again, found a job, and no longer suffered from depression. Time and again, as I performed healing, I learned the influence of home on a person's energy field.

Regular Care for the Energy of Your Living Space

You may have heard of minimalism or the art of decluttering, but what I want to say is this: Every item once crossed paths with you at a certain point in your life. When you hardly use it anymore, it means that on your life’s journey, you rarely need it now. Such items should be given proper care in how they are let go.
Every object carries its own energetic vibration, subtly influencing you. Some items may even hold many past stories or memories. When these no longer support you, it is time to let them go.
In addition to dusting, it is also important to clean the space with water from time to time. The water element has a powerful cleansing ability. Even if you cannot perform a full space-clearing process as described in the following section, simply wiping and washing the environment with water can still achieve a basic level of purification.
After you have completed the basic cleaning of your environment, you can also perform some purification work on the energetic level. There is a wealth of information available on this topic, including methods such as purifying with the element of fire, using sage smudging, burning sea salt mixed with alcohol, creating crystal-infused energy sprays, or playing cleansing sound frequencies, such as spiritual music or instruments like singing bowls.
I will share more details about these practices another time. If you are not currently doing any space energy cleansing, you can search online for related information and carry out this type of purification for your own space.
Enhancing the Flow of Spatial Energy – Using Feng Shui Crystal Ornaments

When we bring in a term like “Feng Shui,” I worry that readers may carry their usual understanding of Feng Shui into it, which could limit their perception of these crystals. I personally prefer to call them “spatial element crystals.” They excel at working in harmony with the elements that govern the phenomena of all things. You can begin by understanding them through concepts such as the four classical elements, and extend from there—but remember, in every aspect of our lives, countless elemental spirits are at work.
Originally, I was not particularly inclined to collect cluster-type crystals. However, one morning upon waking, I saw certain images and information in my inner vision. Following this guidance, I began searching for some crystal clusters, and during my connection with them, I discovered that their work on Earth tends to focus on spatial energy. This is what I refer to as “spatial element crystals – Feng Shui-type crystals.” It makes sense when you think about it: crystal clusters are usually not suitable for holding in the hand for meditation—they are better placed in one spot. This is because their work is mostly directed toward the energy of an entire space, rather than toward individuals, as is the case with many hand-held crystals.
That said, every type of crystal has its own unique work and purpose. Naturally, there are small, non-cluster crystal points that work with spatial energy, and vice versa—some crystal clusters are used for personal healing. When I say that cluster-type crystals tend to work on space, I’m speaking in terms of general tendencies. Moreover, as mentioned in the previous section, when the energy of a space is aligned, everything aligns. So even crystals that primarily work on spatial energy will still bring healing and benefits to the people and things within that space.
Regardless of whether a crystal is a cluster or not, its size often predetermines, to some extent, how it can be used. For example, large clusters or crystal points often serve as excellent guardians of a space and are well-suited as Feng Shui pieces in a room. But don’t underestimate those small clusters that fit only in the palm of your hand. I once encountered such a small cluster that told me it was working on the space itself. When it revealed its true form to me, it was as tall as an entire floor, and its energy filled the whole first floor of our space. I said, “So you’re actually this big!” It replied, “I can be even bigger, but for this space, this is the amount of energy you need me to manifest.”
I underestimated it — small crystal, big spirit. 😊
So, does size really make a difference? First, it must be said that hand-sized crystal clusters are, of course, less commonly used for Feng Shui purposes in space work. As for differences on the energetic level, within a certain size range, there may not be a significant difference— for example, between clusters or crystal points weighing a few hundred grams and those weighing several kilograms, the range of the energetic field may not differ greatly. This largely depends on the individual qualities of the crystal itself. However, when we move into the realm of very large clusters or crystal points weighing tens to hundreds of kilograms, their energetic field is almost always vastly greater than that of pieces weighing just a few kilograms—at least according to my current observations. After all, certain principles of the physical world still apply.
From my experience so far, the work of these Feng Shui-type crystals generally includes guarding a space, guiding the flow of abundant energy within it, directing the movement of qi, carrying out purification, healing, or frequency adjustments for the overall environment, and more. As for which specific type you have obtained or how to use it, you can refer to the sharing in the next section.
How Should Feng Shui Crystals Be Placed?
I am vaguely aware that, in traditional Feng Shui studies, there are certain established principles. However, since I have not studied the deeper theories of Feng Shui in detail, I worry about misinterpreting those doctrines. Therefore, here I will only share what I have been taught and have personally experienced through higher guidance. You are free to choose whether or not to trust my perspective.
When you acquire a Feng Shui object through various circumstances and synchronicities, you will naturally wonder about its qualities and where it should be placed. If you are an intuitive person, you can close your eyes and quietly feel into the nature of the object in your hands, sensing where it would be best placed. Crystals in particular can often inspire you in this way. But if you feel you are not especially intuitive, here is a method taught by many masters that I have personally found very useful, and I would like to share it with you.
You can try placing the object in different spots and, over the course of a few days, look at it daily. Notice whether it feels pleasing to your eyes, whether it looks good or feels comfortable. If you feel nothing or find that you don’t quite appreciate it there, then move it to another place and continue the same observation. When you finally find a spot where it feels truly pleasing and comfortable to you, that location is likely the most suitable place for it at this moment.
For arranging spatial element crystals of the Feng Shui type, you can experiment by placing them in the eight directions of the space as well as in the center. By eight directions, I mean the four corners of the space, plus the points between each corner. You can also imagine placing a “#” (tic-tac-toe grid) over your space—each intersection of the lines is the position I’m referring to. If your layout is irregular or not square, you can try additional placement spots to see what works best.
Of course, I know that in some teachings, a nine-square grid (Bagua map) is used to make a basic division of the functions assigned to each part of a space. If you have studied this area, you can also apply your own understanding when carrying out the placement.
One very important point to remember is that sometimes the characteristics of a space can change. For example, this time you may feel that the position bringing abundance in your space is here, but over time it could shift. This may be related to changes in the surrounding environment, changes in your own energy, changes in the consciousness of your dwelling, or shifts in planetary energies, among other factors. Therefore, every so often—at least once a year—it is a good idea to re-examine your placement and even make slight adjustments to the arrangement of your home.
I remember that in the first year after moving into my townhouse, my teacher pointed out to me, in inner vision, a certain location that governed abundance. However, a year later, that location had changed. Of course, I myself had also changed—after all, the year had turned, nature is always changing, the Earth’s energy is constantly shifting, and so is the universe. It’s just like what people refer to as the “annual cycle” —our life flow is influenced by many factors and is not fixed or unchanging. Sometimes the correspondence of the space’s energetic field will also shift slightly.
The Influence of the Surrounding Area on Your Living Space
Earlier, we discussed how the energy of our living space affects us personally. However, the surrounding environment in which our home is located also influences us. I once lived in a coastal city where, over time, more and more development projects were launched, and more people moved in. Nature and the land were completely destroyed, and even the places where the spirits dwelled were gone. My partner, who is highly sensitive and spiritually attuned, began to feel a deep sense of fear in the later period of living there, often accompanied by a heavy feeling of powerlessness. Sometimes we might think such feelings come from inner work we need to do, but in fact, they can be the result of environmental influences.
Later, our teacher and inner guidance began to appear frequently, and the messages they gave us were always the same: they asked us to move. They did not recommend that I use crystals or other tools to alter the energy field of our home. Their words were: When the entire environment has changed and can no longer support us, there is no need to persistently invest effort in trying to change the energy of this dwelling.
In other words, our frequency and that of this area could no longer resonate in harmony — it was time for us to part ways. After all, the transformation of an entire area is the result of a collective decision, not something we can control individually. What we should do is follow the new guidance and move to a place that is more suitable for us.
At that time, many unusual spiritual and paranormal events occurred in our home. To avoid making this section too lengthy and straying from the main topic, I’ll share those stories with you another time.
What we want to say is this: if you feel that you have done your best with all aspects of your space and inner work, yet your life still feels like a constant struggle, perhaps you could take a closer look at the surrounding environment of your home. Sense whether it is truly suitable for you to live there, and ask your inner guidance to give you an answer.

Earlier, I mentioned that in Taipei we once had a healing space. Before we set it up as a healing space, we temporarily arranged it as a meeting room for use during our preparation phase. At that time, a friend who worked in a non-profit organization brought his team there for a meeting to discuss plans for the new year. However, because the project was new, there was no regular budget to support it, and they needed nearly ten million in additional funding. A few days later, he contacted me and said that, miraculously, they had secured the funding that very week. He believed it was the positive influence of the space that made it happen.
That space was an energy node of the Earth’s grid, with a vortex-like quality that amplified and strengthened the energy of everything within it—both the space itself and the people and events inside. If you enter with kindness and love, you may reap abundant rewards. Conversely, if you carry negative energy, that too will be amplified.
There are many such energy nodes on Earth, both large and small. When there is no special need, we don’t have to deliberately search for them—simply tending to the energy of our own space is enough. I share this only to remind everyone that the space we live in is influenced by many different layers and factors. We should treat the space we inhabit with greater care, and when we have the capacity, extend our love and care outward to nature and the environment.
